Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) is a private technical university located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The university was founded by the Dhaka Ahsania Mission in 1995. Dhaka Ahsania Mission is a non-profit voluntary organization in Bangladesh. The Mission was established in 1958 by Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah.

It maintains close collaboration with the International Association of Universities , University Grants Commission (UGC), Bangladesh and many other national and international educational institutions and professional bodies.

Under an agreement with the Ministry of Education, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, the Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology has been allowed to use the laboratories and workshops of Technical Teachers’ Training College, Tejgaon, Dhaka for conducting some of the practical classes of the students of the University. Some of the sessional courses of the Textile Technology program will be taught at Jute & Textile Product Development Center (BJRI), BTMC and some other private textile mills, factories and commercial laboratories.

At present the university library has more than 8000 volumes of books
